School Meals

At South Petherwin Primary School our school dinners are provided by Chartwells, the leading provider of primary school meals in the UK.

We aim to promote and encourage balanced eating habits and a healthy lifestyle from an early age. Chartwell's menu supports the core theme of healthy eating within the Healthy Schools programme. Dishes are freshly prepared on site each day using 'steamplicity' and the recipes are developed to ensure that they are of the highest nutritional standards.  As a school, we believe that when children eat better they achieve better.  Whether families are paying for school meals or are entitled to them for free, children are more likely to concentrate in the classroom after eating healthy school lunches.

If you have any questions about school meals, please contact Beccy Robinson, Chartwell's Area Manager, on 07917 504620 or rebecca.robinson@compass-group.co.uk
