Thoughts from all at South Petherwin are with the Royal Family on hearing the very sad news of the death of Her Majesty The Queen. We will pay tribute to her long and remarkable reign over the coming days. Our heartfelt condolences to everyone who is saddened by the news.

The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.

We are very sorry to hear of the loss of Margaret Stephens (Mrs Tea & Toast). Our deepest sympathies are with all the family. They have kindly let us know that a celebration of Margaret's life is being held at the Chapel on Wednesday 20th July. All are welcome to attend.
